In loving memory of our Champion 2022 Daniel Imler

 It is with great sadness the family of Daniel W. Imler, 86, of  Circleville, Ohio, announces his passing. He went home to be with his  Lord on April 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Dad was  born on February 8, 1937 to the late Ronald and Eunice Imler at home in  Saltcreek Township. He graduated from Saltcreek School in 1955. On

 It is with great sadness the family of Daniel W. Imler, 86, of  Circleville, Ohio, announces his passing. He went home to be with his  Lord on April 1, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Dad was  born on February 8, 1937 to the late Ronald and Eunice Imler at home in  Saltcreek Township. He graduated from Saltcreek School in 1955. On Leap  Day, February 29 in 1956, Dad married his sweetheart, Betty Reed, and  they had four children, Dianna Imler-Moss, Daniel (Linda) Imler and  Dolly (James) Kroeger, and Ronald (Audra) Imler.

Dan, nicknamed  "Tag" in his youth, didn't know a stranger, striking up a conversation  everywhere he went. He was a member of Cornerstone Christian Church for  almost 60 years where he served as a trustee and Sunday School teacher.  He retired from Elford Inc in 1992 as a Laborer from the Laborers Local  423. Dan loved to garden, travel, quilt, build and spend time with his  grandchildren.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents; son,  Ronald C. Imler; granddaughter, Emma Imler; and brothers, Donald and  David Imler. Father of 4, grandfather of 5, and great-grandfather of 7.  He will be greatly missed!

  Brian Ralph Gerlach, 60, of Ashville, Ohio went home to be with Jesus  on April 5, 2023. He was born on April 12, 1962 to the late Louis and  Maxine (Stevens) Gerlach in Circleville. Brian was a graduate of Logan  Elm High School. He worked for Shenker, (Dupont) and in the food service  department at Berger Hospital. Brian was an avid f

  Brian Ralph Gerlach, 60, of Ashville, Ohio went home to be with Jesus  on April 5, 2023. He was born on April 12, 1962 to the late Louis and  Maxine (Stevens) Gerlach in Circleville. Brian was a graduate of Logan  Elm High School. He worked for Shenker, (Dupont) and in the food service  department at Berger Hospital. Brian was an avid fan of THE Ohio State  University Buckeyes, watching NASCAR, and Gospel music.  He was a member  of Village Chapel Church in Ashville where he loved his church family  and participated in many activities.  

Aside from his parents he was preceded in death by nephew, Jacob Curtiss.

Brian  is survived by his sisters, Cathy (Paul) Curtiss, Julie (Brian)  Leonard; nieces, Katie (Mitch) Hamel, Kristi (Shane) Riddle, Kendra  Hupp, and nephew, Kyle (Shelby) Hupp.

  It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish.  Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Olga Sherman of  Circleville, New York, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away at the  age of 84, on August 24, 2021. 


She  was preceded in her passing by: her parents, Alexander Gernovich and Phyllis  Gernovich (P

  It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish.  Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Olga Sherman of  Circleville, New York, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away at the  age of 84, on August 24, 2021. 


She  was preceded in her passing by: her parents, Alexander Gernovich and Phyllis  Gernovich (Pardoe); her husband Roy Donald Sherman; her grandson Mark  Daniel Sherman; her brother Walter Gernovich; and her brother-in-law  Fred Samples.

She is survived by : her children, Donald Sherman  (Susan) of Ashville and Donna Rose Henson (Steve); her grandchildren,  Elizabeth Sherman, Rachel Lonsberry (Alex), Matt Sherman, Jimmy Henson  and Charlie Henson; her great grandchild Anneliese Lonsberry; and her  siblings, Alexander Gernovich (Doris) and Mary Samples. She is also  survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In loving memory of Our Champion 2021 - Olga Sherman

  Olive  Elaine Winter, 85 of Ashville passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 at  Pickaway Manor in Circleville after a 16 year courageous battle against  Parkinson’s Disease.  Elaine was born on January 13, 1934 to the late  George Lewis and Olive M. (Peters) Quillen in Ashville.  A graduate of  Walnut High School in 1952, Ohio University w

  Olive  Elaine Winter, 85 of Ashville passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 at  Pickaway Manor in Circleville after a 16 year courageous battle against  Parkinson’s Disease.  Elaine was born on January 13, 1934 to the late  George Lewis and Olive M. (Peters) Quillen in Ashville.  A graduate of  Walnut High School in 1952, Ohio University with a B.S. in Education in  1956 and later earned a M.A. in Education degree in 1988.  Elaine taught  Home Economics at Teays Valley Middle School for 30 years and then  worked for the OSU Extension Agency as a Family Nutrition Educator for 8  ½ yrs.. She was also very involved throughout the years in AAUW, DAR  and Retired Teachers Assoc. and was an active member of Hedges Chapel  Church.  In addition, Elaine was also involved in starting a Parkinson  Support Group in Pickaway County.

Besides  her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by a brother Dr. Donald P.  Quillen DVM.  Surviving are children Robert “Bob” Charles Winter of  Amanda, Carol Elaine (Paul) Johnson of Ashville and James L. (Sharon  Elaine) Winter of Ashville; granddaughters Dr. Samantha O. Johnson DPT,  Christina E. and Caroline N. Winter.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Parkinson’s Foundation for National Research, 200 SE 1st St. Ste.  800, Miami, FL 33131 or to Hedges Chapel CCCU Church. The family extends a special appreciation to the tender and caring staffs of Pickaway Manor and  Heartland Hospice.
